LO3: Be able to repurpose content and create the personal media profile

Short film:

To create more of a meaning towards my media profile I would add a short clip from the short film I created, I would do this because it will strengthen my media profile for it shows the potential employer the skills I have and an example of some of the work I have created. I would do this through editing some of the short film that shows skills that would impress someone that is viewing my media profile and I would export then short film further from Adobe Premier Pro from a MOV file type to a MP4 file type because it will be of a high quality for the employer to view on my portfolio. 

Magazine:

Another piece of content that I would add to my portfolio would be evidence of me using editing software such as Adobe Photoshop to create a magazine page. From doing this it means that it would evidence to the viewer the different skills I have and shows evidence of how I can produce quality work that looks professional. The original file type for the piece of work was exported as a TIFF file type, however this would have to be changed for the work to be put onto the portfolio because it would not a suitable file type to go onto platform such as wix.com. This means that the file type would have to be exported further to a JPEG file type so it is suitable for the portfolio platform.

Legal and ethical requirements 

Short film:

Some legal and ethical requirements that I would have to consider when using my short film as an example of the work I have produced would be to make sure that there are no forms of offensive language contained, I would not have to worry about there being any form of copyright for this is my work and their are no copyright features involved. There would be little ethical issues with the short film, the ethical issues that would be involved would be  people possibly getting offended from the storyline of the short film for it involves people that are homosexuals. On the other hand, there is no offensive language or anything that could offend anyone for it is shown to be in a comedic manner that is stereotypical. 

Magazine:

The magazine cover that I created could have a form of copyright contained for it has an image of a celebrity contained, this is only because it was done to practice the skills of forming a magazine cover in a professional manner that is of good quality. For future notice if I created a magazine to be published I would have to get it checked by IPSO and W3C, these are the companies that check the content on the magazine to see if it is appropriate for the audience to view. The magazine page I appropriate for all genders and ethnicities and it targeted at anyone that is a fan of Billie Eilish.

Some legal and ethical requirements that are needed to be considered for a media profile would be to make sure that there is no trademark information or any forms of copyright and  to avoid any ethical issues such as offensive content or any violent content or wording. There would also need to ensure that there is no form of offensive or subjective content that could possibly effect the quality of the media profile.

Justify the choice of content of repurposed formats 

Website 

I am adding this website as an example of work on my portfolio that I have done because it shows the different skills that I have done and developed. From using a example instead of explaining the content showing it will make it easier for the viewer to see what type of skills and the different methods that have been used and how they have been used. This will make my portfolio more secure and stronger because to gives examples of work that I have created and how I have created it and the exact skills I have used to create the content. This website shows the design skills I have and the forms or content that I could add and how I can incorporate the colors that are signified with the college and how they can be added in subtle ways that are effective yet also still professional and functionable.  

This page shows how I can use software such as Adobe Photoshop to edit images to make them more effective and professional. This page will show the viewer that I have the skills to use different tools in Photoshop and I can lay a website out professionally and effectively. 
This page will show the user how I can use different skills and interactive features such as a map showing the location of where the college is. This is an effective page that is suitable and has functions that are needed and are popular to use. 
This page is more plain than some of the other pages for it is a basic page that gives information for the user about the topic without it being too complex and easy to understand and use. This page gives key information for the user about the college and shows the viewer that I know the specific information that is needed and is suitable for the audience to know. 
This page shows mainly the design and how I can do my research on the original Doncaster UTC website and use some of the key design ideas such as the circles o add dashes of color to the website. this shows my research skills that can have a big effect on the success of a product and how they are reliable and how I can gather useful information that can be used. 
This is another form of information page that shows the different types of people in a school council and how the different roles function and the people that are related to the student council. This page also shows the design method and how the basic housestyle of the websites is consistent throughout the website. 
This page contains multiple different forms of images that are taken via a 360 degree camera. This shows the viewer how I know how to use equipment and how I can form it professionally in a website. This is a good skill to have for it means that I can create websites that are high quality and have features that are interactive and technical for people to use. 
This page is basic for it only shows the different rooms that are in the UTC for the post 16 students, this however is still an needed and effective page because it shows needed information that informs the user on locations and the layout of building that they need to know about. 
This page on the website is needed because it shows statements from current students and how they find the college as students, this is valuable information that should be on the website because it shows how I can determine the difference between what parents need to know about a college which they can find on the main website and what students want to know about a college.  
This page shows the viewer how I can change dates on posts and that would be needed for the past, this page also shows more interactive features that I know how to operate and use, this will increase the strength of my portfolio because it shows the different skills I have and examples of it. 
This page shows needed forms that are on the website for they are effective and are always needed for college and school based platforms. This helps with the portfolios strength because it shows relevant information.

I have decided to add these pieces of work to my portfolio because they show the different skills that I have, this further strengthens my portfolio and CV because it shows the employer the different skills I have acquired and the different pieces of skills and examples of the quality of skills I have.
