LO1: Explain the purpose of a media profile (P1)
The purpose of media profiles is used to apply for a job, they summaries one's education and their skills they have. Through a media profile they help sell the person to an employer, they state the unique skills and advantages of having the person on their team. Media profiles help potential employers to know more about the person before hiring them and manage to access information on them to see if they would fit in with the company. There are a number of elements/ sectors that can be included in a media profile. These include: Skills: Skills on a media profile are included for it can state to the potential employer the skills the person has; this can help sell the person to the employer and allows the employer to determine if the person is suitable for the job role available and for the company.
