LO2 (P2) : Be able to to scope and plan content for a proposal

 

Some examples of work that I have created throughout my media unit:

Magazine:

At the beginning of the media unit we recreated a magazine cover to develop our photoshop skills on Adobe Photoshop. We took inspiration from the magazine covers to show how we could have inspiration from magazine covers that already exist. From using Adobe Photoshop it has helped to develop the skills and knowledge I have of the platform and has made it more accessible for me to use, from having this skill it means that I can further use photoshop to improve any images that I want to edit, for example the images that I have used to create my website I have edited in photoshop to ensure that the quality of them is higher and more professional.

Storyboard:

I have created a storyboard for multiple different reasons, for example I have used a storyboard to create a short film, promotional video and a music video, I have done this to show the step by step process of what is occurring in the short film and how the contents layout with the camera angles, lighting, footage, characters and dialogue contained. I further put this document into a PDF file format so I could further put it onto my blog and to have the document in a high quality footage. 

Script:

We have created scripts throughout our media course for multiple different projects such as for a short film, promotional video, helping with a podcast and radio commercial. From creating a script it helped develop my organisational skills and my directional skills through me having to include stage directions, actors and characters, tones of voice and the events that are occurring. 

Short film:

When creating a short film I had to develop multiple skills such as organisational, directional, editing skills and creating pre production documents. From developing these skills it has meant that I can explore and develop the skills that I need for the development and production sectors of the media industry. When exporting my short film and editing it I had to use Adobe Premier Pro, where I developed my editing skills and production skills. 

Call sheets:

During the process of me creating products I have had to create call sheets to show how the shooting would occur, whos involved, dates and timing. From having this knowledge it means that I can further organise projects and filming timings to the extent that is understandable and accessible for everyone. From creating call sheets it means that the days that the project is being filmed are organised and has all the information and equipment needed for the tasks ahead.
